RK House is located in an old housing development area where most of the decades-old original homes are still retained in their original form.

The house is designed to be in tune with its surroundings while also providing some freshness into the neighbourhood. A pitched roof with the same orientation  & similar inclination angle as the neighbouring homes was used in the design.

A family of three will occupy the house with the possibility of having more children. The lower floor houses an open-plan living-dining-cooking area, with a separate service area on one side. The second floor accommodates the more private areas such as bedroom & bathrooms.

Natural ventilation & lighting becomes a priority during the design process with various forms of openings being provided in each room.
