PM House is a compact house for a young family of four situated in a unique location: a relatively small land plot surrounded by streets on all sides.

The clients are a young family looking to build a new home with relatively basic needs: 2 bedrooms, a study area that can later be converted to a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, an open living-dining area, & a naturally ventilated kitchen.

The relatively small site meant the house needed to be compact in footprint. Hence the adoption of a two-story building, with the living, dining, & kitchen area on the ground floor & bedrooms on the upper floor.

A significant amount of space in the relatively small site is allocated to a garden, accommodating outdoor activities to encourage the occupants, particularly their children, to engage with nature & the outdoors.
