FW House was designed as the residence of a modern young couple who wanted a tropical house with some contemporary twists.

A large pitched roof was used as the main cover of the house. This provides shelter against heavy rainfall.

Inside, several twists add playfulness to the spatial experience. From the double-height entrance foyer, the curved void above the living room, to the open kitchen with an outdoor bar, FW House represents the clients’ open-mindedness and modern lifestyle.

The functional division was done vertically. The lower floor serves semi-public functions such as the living & dining area, as well as some service functions. The upper floor, on the other hand, contains the most private areas including the bedrooms and master bathroom.
