DC House accommodates two young women and their senior parents. This is reflected in the arrangement of functions, where the lower floor houses the parents' bedrooms as well as the common functions, while the upper floor contains the bedrooms and service functions.

The house is quite unique in its construction. An old building was present in the land plot, and some of the existing structure is reused, while a new extension is added to the front.

The back part of the house, where the bedrooms are, utilizes most of the old structuree. Hence the rigid structural grid.

On the other hand, the front part was completely new, enabling the creation of a double-height living & dining room, as well as a modern front facade.
